The purposes of contemporary art

     There is no precise formulation of art's purposes. One interprets them according to his own understanding of art.
     In my opinion, the main purposes of art are as follows:
- to charge people with positive energy;
- to inspire them;
- to evoke high feelings and emotions; 
- to create for people a small world of serenity and harmony;
- to let people not forget about the beauty of the world;
- to expand people's consciousness.
